Conference hotels in Hungary

Riverside Budapest and a Leisure Complex

In District V, Budapest Marriott Hotel on Apáczai Csere János utca and InterContinental Budapest on the same street both sit by the river, the latter with views over it. The Marriott is categorised as a conference centre and adds a Mediterranean restaurant, gym and spa; the InterContinental states conferences among its occasions and adds a spa and indoor pool. Aquaworld Resort Budapest in District IV takes a different shape: a four-star hotel with a water park and three restaurants, whose conference centre hosts events for close to 1,000 people.

Matching the Venue to the Programme

A riverside hotel in District V suits a meeting that continues into a dinner in the same building, while a spa resort in Egerszalók or Kiskunmajsa carries a multi-day programme with pools and team building built in. For a larger gathering, Aquaworld Resort Budapest states a conference centre for close to 1,000 people, which sets it apart from the smaller conference rooms elsewhere on this page.

Ask each venue what a quoted space includes and whether the stated capacity applies to your layout. A hotel that hosts conferences does not automatically take private celebrations, so confirm hire terms, catering and the event types the property accepts in writing.
