Garden venues in Danube Bend split into two clear camps: riverside places with a kitchen behind them and open-air estates where the setting does the work. Sződliget and Göd offer the first, Vác, Kisoroszi and Verőce the second. The difference matters most for catering, weather cover and how the evening flows once the ceremony is over. This page compares named examples and sets out what to settle with each venue.

Üvegház étterem in Sződliget is the practical version: a restaurant and event venue on the Danube bank, with a garden, a playground and a terrace over the water. Its kitchen serves Hungarian dishes and craft pizza, and it states weddings, wedding receptions and corporate events. Ilka Csárda Panzió in Göd adds rooms on site and a garden event area.
Völgy Major in Verőce takes the opposite route. It is a wedding venue on a green estate of more than 14 hectares in a wooded setting, with ceremonies and receptions among its stated occasions, and no kitchen of its own, so external caterers provide the food. Teraszkilátó és Erdei Pihenő Rendezvényhelyszín in Vác sits at the foot of the Naszály on a 1.3-hectare site with a panorama over the Danube Bend, and states civil ceremonies among its events.
Catering is the first fork. A restaurant venue brings its own kitchen and menu; an estate such as Völgy Major leaves the dinner to an external caterer, which gives the couple room to shape the menu but adds a supplier to coordinate. Ask which rooms or areas are included and what happens if the weather turns.
Access is the second. Magyar Golf Club in Kisoroszi offers a clubhouse and a tent in the middle of the course for corporate events, team building, family days and weddings, while Beatrix Boutique Hotel in Visegrád provides a 40 m2 conference room for 20 to 30 people. Confirm private hire, accessibility and the terms of use with each venue.
For a garden event, the arrangement of the ceremony, the dinner and the dancing decides how the site works. Ask for the plan of the grounds and check where guests move if the programme shifts indoors. A venue that states weddings does not automatically offer private hire for every date, so the terms belong in the contract.
Transport and accommodation are worth settling early in the Danube Bend, since the venues sit in different towns. Ilka Csárda Panzió and Beatrix Boutique Hotel keep guests on site, while the estates in Verőce and Kisoroszi rely on arrivals by car. Confirm parking and the number of rooms available with the venue.
Some do: Teraszkilátó és Erdei Pihenő Rendezvényhelyszín states civil ceremonies, and Völgy Major states wedding ceremonies and receptions. Others list receptions only. Ask which parts of the programme the venue covers.
Völgy Major has no kitchen or restaurant of its own, so external caterers provide the food and the couple can shape the dinner menu. Restaurant venues such as Üvegház étterem cook in house.
