Event venues in Körmend

A cinema hall, a bowling park and a wedding hall

The Körmendi Mozi on Kölcsey Ferenc u. 4 is the most technical of the three: the first auditorium seats 106 people, and digital projection and sound equipment come with the room. The cinema buffet can serve events, or catering can be brought in from an external company. The entrance, restrooms and parking are wheelchair accessible.

Mjus Bowling & Szórakoztató Park on Rákóczi u. 156 describes itself as a setting for business meetings and conferences alongside bowling, so it leans towards informal company gatherings. Nyírfa Rendezvényterem on Dobó tér 4 is a wedding venue and event hall that names weddings, christenings and family or friendly gatherings, with a wheelchair-accessible car park.

Matching the room to the occasion in Körmend

Start from the format. A screening with video and sound points to the cinema, a company day with bowling points to Mjus, and a ceremony with a reception points to Nyírfa Rendezvényterem. The three are not interchangeable, and each venue states its own profile clearly.

For the cinema, ask what the room rental covers and how catering is handled, since the buffet and an external caterer are both mentioned. For Mjus, room layout, group sizes and technical equipment are not given, and private hire is not stated. For Nyírfa, dates, capacity and what a hire includes still need confirming with the venue.

What to settle with the venue

Confirm in writing what the hire fee covers, who provides the technical equipment and catering, and how accessibility applies to the specific room you get. The cinema lists accessible entrance, restrooms and parking, Nyírfa lists an accessible car park, and Mjus gives no such details. Ask which space is actually assigned to your date.
