Event venues in Szentes

Lakeside grounds versus a town hall

Antal-tavi Fogadó és Horgászparadicsom is a guesthouse and event venue at Mentettrét, beside a fishing lake. Its event hall takes up to 140 guests and the venue presents itself for weddings and wedding receptions. Civil ceremonies can be held in the pergola or by the lakeside, with the hall as a bad-weather alternative. A covered terrace can serve as a dance floor, and rooms come with central heating, TV and WiFi.

Rendezvények Háza on Csongrádi út is a rendezvényterem, a hall-type space, and the same name appears at the Alsórét address as a wedding venue presenting itself for weddings and receptions. For meetings and presentations, Megyeháza Konferencia és Kulturális Központ on Kossuth tér combines conference facilities with a cultural-centre role.

Matching the venue to the programme

A lakeside ceremony and a hall-based reception ask different things of a venue. At Antal-tavi Fogadó the pergola and the lakeside are named for civil ceremonies, with the hall as the fallback, so the sequence of the day can be arranged around the water. The covered terrace as a dance floor is a detail worth checking in person.

In town, the hall-type Rendezvények Háza and the conference rooms of Megyeháza Konferencia és Kulturális Központ suit meetings, presentations and cultural programmes. Capacity, layout and the technical arrangements are not published for these places, so the practical step is to put those questions to the venue and confirm whether private hire is possible for the date you have in mind.

Access and arrival

Guests arriving by car have free parking at Antal-tavi Fogadó és Horgászparadicsom, where the entrance, the parking and the seating are wheelchair-accessible. Rendezvények Háza at Alsórét and on Csongrádi út both list a wheelchair-accessible car park, and Megyeháza Konferencia és Kulturális Központ adds an accessible entrance and toilet to its accessible car park.
