La Contessa Castle Hotel and Event Center on Park u. 6 occupies a restored castle that once belonged to the Pallavicini family. Its dining rooms differ in size: the Erzsébet restaurant seats 50, the Keglevich room 30 and the Erdődy room 24. The hotel states it is an event venue and wedding service.

Lipicai Hotel és Étterem at Egri út 12 works with a single 200 m² hall, 4.5 m high, with a separate entrance, its own washrooms and cloakroom, and blackout curtains. It lists weddings, conferences, team building trainings, religious lectures and concerts. SzilvaHáz at Egri út 70 has a 62 m² conference room for up to 30 people and a 74 m² room that doubles as a dining or workshop space.

What to settle before the date is fixed

Match the room to the format rather than the other way round. A 24-seat Erdődy room and a 200 m² hall serve different programmes, and SzilvaHáz's two conference rooms suit workshops better than a large reception. Ask for the layout you would actually use, not the maximum figure.

Catering is the second question. La Contessa has its own restaurant rooms and Lipicai's hall connects directly to the Lipicai restaurant, while SzilvaHáz lists a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace dining area facing the lake. Confirm in writing what private hire covers, what the kitchen arrangement means for your group, and who supplies the technical equipment.
