Fried Kastélyszálló Resort in Simontornya, at Malom u. 33, appears both as a wedding venue and as a hotel with dining, a spa and a pool.
What to settle before the menu
The two Dunaföldvár and Szekszárd restaurants work differently from the castles. Dunaföldvári Halászcsárda at Hősök tere 25 is a Hungarian restaurant built around fish dishes, and it states that it serves corporate events and smaller family gatherings such as engagements and christenings. Diófa Étterem és Panzió on the Szekszárd outskirts runs a guesthouse with 14 rooms for 30–35 people and lists family events, anniversaries, birthdays, name days, class reunions and school farewells among its occasions.
For a full wedding, the key question is which spaces a venue will actually hand over for private use, and whether the ceremony and the reception can sit in the same building.
