Prés Wine Bar and Kitchen keeps the tasting inside a Tokaj restaurant, indoors or outdoors, and its own description lists corporate events, family gatherings, class reunions and friendly get-togethers. Sauska Tokaj in Rátka works the other way: a winery with a bar, restaurant and terrace, focused on business meetings, conferences and weddings with receptions. A third option, Bodnár Pincészet Borház in Sátoraljaújhely, has a 20-person tasting room and a 50-guest event hall that can be opened into one space.

Matching the room to the tasting

For a seated tasting with a speaker, the private rooms matter more than the wine list. Sauska Padi & Bar in Rátka has a 100 m² private room, The Gallery, seating 35 with a built-in screen and projector. Confirm with the venue what the quoted arrangement covers: the tasting itself, the room, the catering and any technical equipment. A public tasting or a restaurant menu does not by itself mean private hire is available, so state your group size and ask what the house can offer for it.
