Book launch venues in Fejér County

A cultural centre and a central library as the two poles

Szabadbattyáni Móricz Zsigmond Művelődési Ház és Könyvtár in Szabadbattyán hires its rooms for lectures, courses and fairs, and for smaller family events for up to 80 people. The rental period runs from arrival through decoration, the event and cleaning, and only the room named in the contract may be used. Vörösmarty Mihály Library in Székesfehérvár is the counterweight: a central building with adult lending, a local-history group, a children's department, a reading room, and music and computer departments, and a programme that includes conferences and book launches with signings.

Matching the room to the format of the evening

A reading and a signing need different things: enough seating for the audience, a table for the books, and space at the back for standing guests. Ask which room is included in the agreement and what the rental time covers, since these conditions differ from one institution to the next. Accessibility is worth checking early: some buildings list a wheelchair-accessible entrance, car park, toilet or seating, and Vörösmarty Mihály Library lists an assistive hearing loop.
