Book launch venues in Baranya County cluster in Pécs, and the most practical starting point is the South Transdanubian Regional Library and Knowledge Centre on Universitas utca, which lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park. The city also offers smaller library settings for readings and author talks. These are working libraries and conference spaces rather than dedicated event halls, so the room, the technical setup and the terms of hire are worth settling with each venue in advance.

The Klimo Könyvtár és Egyetemtörténeti Gyűjtemény on Szepesy Ignác utca is a university library and historical collection whose department organises conferences and exhibitions, with a separate research room in use since 2000. A book launch with a historical or academic theme fits this setting well.
For a more everyday Pécs address, the Csorba Győző Könyvtár Belvárosi Fiókkönyvtár és Ifjúsági TanulóTér on Király utca runs library events and has hosted the Pécs–Baranya évszázadai local-history conference. Its central location suits a launch tied to local themes.
Decide early whether the launch needs a conference room with projection or a quieter reading corner, then ask which of these the venue can offer and on what terms. The South Transdanubian Regional Library and Knowledge Centre lists a restaurant or café on site, which helps if the programme includes a reception.
Accessibility matters: the Universitas utca building states a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park, while the smaller branches do not list such features. Confirm seating, microphone and catering arrangements with the venue, and check whether private hire is possible at all.
The listings describe libraries and conference venues, not private hire terms. Ask each venue whether the room can be booked exclusively and what the conditions are.
The South Transdanubian Regional Library and Knowledge Centre mentions a restaurant or café on site. Confirm with the venue what catering or refreshments it can provide for your event.
The Universitas utca building lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park. The other libraries do not state this, so ask them about access before deciding.
