Cultural centers in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County

Matching the room to the programme

The county's cultural venues suit conferences, exhibitions, concerts and community occasions better than formal receptions, so the programme decides the choice. A hall with music and dancing calls for different furnishing than an exhibition space, and a club room limits the audience size. Ask which rooms are available for your date and what the hire includes.

Accessibility is worth checking early: the Szolnok venues and the Déryné centre in Karcag list wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance and toilet, while Karcag Kincse lists parking and entrance. Szandaszőlősi Művelődési Ház on Simon Ferenc utca in Szolnok offers club and hobby circles, exhibitions, a play corner and a branch library, with rooms available for hire. Confirm with each venue what private hire covers and whether catering is possible.

What to settle before the date

Public programmes and exhibitions do not by themselves mean a venue takes private bookings. For each site, ask whether the rooms can be hired for a closed event, which spaces come with the booking, and how the venue's own programme affects the date. The answers vary by building, and the room layout often decides what is feasible.
