Cultural event venues in Komárom-Esztergom County split into two clear types. One is the historic site where the building sets the tone: the Majki Kamalduli Remeteség és Esterházy-kastély in Oroszlány, a museum whose Kolostor hosts conferences, lectures, exhibitions and wedding ceremonies, or the Sándor-Metternich Castle in Bajna, a classicist hunting castle whose courtyard, park and main building take corporate events and weddings, with tents possible outdoors. The other is the working cultural building, such as Tulipános Ház in Tatabánya.

See all 85 venues in search ↗The Majk site in Oroszlány is the quieter option: a monastery beside lakes, with a ceremonial hall that has a screen and projector, and a multi-touch screen. The Sándor-Metternich Castle in Bajna works the other way, offering 3,600 square metres of complex and a 10-hectare garden, 2 hectares of it for events. The Oroszlány Mining Museum is the third register, with original equipment, a small railway and guided tours, and it describes itself as a good venue for company picnics and larger events.
The Balogh–Esterházy-kastély in Naszály-Billegpuszta is a dedicated event venue, listing weddings, receptions, corporate events and cultural programmes in a countryside setting. In Tatabánya, Tulipános Ház handles meetings, conferences, workshops and exhibitions, up to a 240-person conference, with catering from a local partner. Esztergom's A Művelődés Háza, volt zsinagóga rents a theatre hall with 206 fixed seats and a stage, plus two smaller club rooms.
Two sites state wedding ceremonies or receptions themselves: the Kolostor at Majk and the Balogh–Esterházy-kastély in Naszály, the latter with receptions named among its occasions. The Sándor-Metternich Castle in Bajna lists weddings alongside corporate events, and its outdoor areas can be covered with tents on request, which matters when the ceremony is planned for the courtyard or the park.
Catering is named at Tulipános Ház, where a local partner provides plated or buffet meals, receptions and wedding dinners. Elsewhere the kitchen arrangement is not part of the listing, so the menu, the service and the timing are questions for the venue. A ceremony in a museum building also needs its own logistics agreed in advance.
Majk's Kolostor and the Balogh–Esterházy-kastély in Naszály state wedding ceremonies or receptions among their occasions, and the Sándor-Metternich Castle in Bajna lists weddings. Confirm the ceremony type and the paperwork with each venue.
Majk's ceremonial hall has a screen, a projector and a multi-touch screen. Tulipános Ház in Tatabánya provides technical equipment on site. At A Művelődés Háza in Esztergom technical needs are agreed separately and are not part of the room hire fee.
Its rooms suit meetings, conferences, workshops and exhibitions, from small gatherings up to a 240-person conference, arranged to the client's needs. Catering comes from a local partner with plated or buffet meals. Ask the venue about the layout.
