Two Ends of the Scale: Tarján and Bajna
Öreg Favágó Kocsmája in Tarján is the informal end of the range: a Bavarian-style restaurant where corporate events and meetings are held upstairs, while on the ground floor companies can hold presentations and football matches can be watched on a projector screen. In summer a 150-person beer tent stands in the courtyard, and the venue states that weddings and receptions can be held there.
Sándor-Metternich Castle in Bajna works the other way. The building, built around 1720 and redesigned by József Hild, offers its main building, ornamental courtyard and park for events; the 10-hectare garden has 2 hectares available, and outdoor areas can be covered with tents on request. Corporate events and weddings are stated occasions.
Rooms, Lakeshore and a Monastery Hall
In Esztergom, Csülök Csárda has an air-conditioned dining room whose box seating opens up to seat 36, plus a separate room for 24; it states family and corporate events. In Tata, Várkanyar Vendéglő takes class reunions, smaller weddings and receptions, with the restaurant and conservatory holding 36 and 18 guests and a garden area seating 26 from spring to autumn. Grill Étterem, also in Tata, adds a panorama room, lakeside terrace and its own pier.
