Miskolc and Tolna county

Outside Budapest, Átrium Park in Miskolc, at Zsolcai kapu 34, shares its grounds with offices, warehouses and a restaurant: indoors there is a small meeting room for 2-4 people, a function hall for 10-40 guests and an event room for 10-40 guests, and at weekends the large open area can host high-capacity events, with close to 400 parking spaces. In Fácánkert, Tolna county, Retreat Factory - a szeszgyár is an event hall converted from a former alcohol factory, with accommodation on site. Neither venue names fashion shows among its own occasions, so it is worth asking how a runway, seating and technical equipment could be arranged.

A fashion show's technical needs have to match the venue: runway length, the models' entry and exit routes and how lighting and sound can be rigged all depend on the room's size and layout. Indoor halls and outdoor areas offer different conditions, so a site visit and a clear brief help decide which space suits the show.

What to settle with the venue

The listings differ in what they state: OFF Kultur mentions sound, lighting and visual equipment, rentable furniture and catering, and its team also works as an event planner, while the Millenáris buildings and Átrium Park describe their rooms and access rather than production services. Confirm with the venue what is included in the hire and what you must bring. A public event or a restaurant menu is not proof that a space can be hired privately, so ask about private hire and about the setup for a runway and audience seating.

For a rural site such as Retreat Factory in Fácánkert, ask how guests and equipment reach the venue and whether accommodation is part of the booking.
