Sports club venues in Baja

Ice hall, sports hotel and riding schools

The Pick Rink - Bajai jég- és szabadidő csarnok on Március 15. stny. names birthdays and gatherings with friends or family, corporate team building and family days among the events it welcomes. Its entrance, restroom, parking and seating are wheelchair accessible, and an induction loop supports hearing-aid users. Bajai Sportszálló és Vizisportcentrum, on the same street, is a hotel and youth hostel with a function room for up to 80 guests and a meeting room for up to 17.

Remény Lovasiskola, operating since 1996, is a family-run riding school with a grass show-jumping arena, a textile training arena and the Gledícsiás Pajta as its event venue; weddings are among the occasions it states. Taba Team at IV. körzet Tanya 12/b offers livery, riding instruction and trail riding, with a heated club room and a fire pit used for birthdays. Both riding schools are outside the centre.

Matching the venue to the group

For a large indoor gathering with accessibility needs, the ice hall is the obvious base; for a multi-day company programme, the sports hotel adds rooms and a meeting room. Riding schools work better for smaller groups that want an outdoor day, with the club room as shelter. Ask about private hire, the number of guests a space takes and whether catering is available. The sports hotel states that groups can cook Baja fish soup in a cauldron over an open fire on request.
