Wedding reception venues in Szombathely

Matching the room to the reception

Think through the sequence first: arrival, dinner, speeches, dancing. A single large room suits a compact guest list, while a dining room plus a separate space lets the tables be cleared without moving the whole party. Kispityer's garden seating and Pásztor Csárda's two rooms point to different layouts, and Magic's lower-level hall keeps the event apart from the restaurant.

Ask how the menu is built for a group and whether a tasting is possible. Gekko Pub és Étterem cooks traditional dishes and street food, offers generous meat platters for larger groups and provides event catering for 20 to 200 guests at outside locations or its own venues; its separate room takes 20-25 people. Confirm with the venues what a reception booking includes, from room use to service.

Spaces beyond the restaurant table

Arena Savaria on Sugár út 18 is a sports venue that names several event locations: the Sportliget, the Városliget and the athletics track on Sugár út, alongside room hire in the Schaeffler Arena Savaria and the Kiscsarnok. It also offers pitch hire at the Sportliget and Városliget. Its spaces suit a daytime programme or a larger gathering rather than a seated dinner, and both wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance are listed.
