Outdoor park against downtown hall
Alsóerdei Sport- és Élménypark and art Cinema illustrate the two ends of the choice. The park offers rope courses, climbing walls, an instructor-led ski slope, outdoor courts, a fitness park, a playground and a KRESZ traffic course for children; indoors there is a virtual games area and a SkyTechSport ski simulator. Technically equipped meeting rooms with adjoining foyers are also available.
art Cinema sits on Széchenyi tér with a 66-seat auditorium and modern projection and sound equipment. The building is wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry, seating and toilet. A third option, Keresztury Dezső Cultural Center Zalaegerszeg on Landorhegyi út, states theatre, concerts, exhibitions and family and children's events in its programme, and rents out rooms.
Matching the space to the gathering
A park and a cinema hall serve different gatherings, so decide first whether the event needs open-air space or a fixed auditorium. The park's business meetings and team building point to groups that move between stations, while the cinema's seating suits a seated audience. Ask about private hire where the venue's own description only names screenings, performances or public programmes.
Accessibility differs by building. The park has a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance and toilet; the cinema adds accessible seating; the cultural center also has a hearing loop. Confirm the terms of room hire and what technical equipment is included with the space.
