Concert halls in Csongrád-Csanád County

Riverside hall, institutional rooms, bistro stage

The IH Event Center on Felső Tisza-part in Szeged is an event venue that hosts concerts, theatre evenings, psychology lectures, conferences, weddings and school farewells; its room rental also covers exhibitions, festivals, class reunions and wedding receptions. Albert Szent-Györgyi Agora at Kálvária sugárút 23 describes itself as a cultural, scientific and community institution with concerts, performances and conference venues, and hireable rooms including a dance hall and conference rooms of 272 and 80 people. Garden Bistro&Beach on Damjanich utca is a restaurant and event venue that also appears under concert hall and brunch restaurant categories, so it fits daytime dining and music-linked occasions.

Matching the room to the programme

Start from what the evening actually needs. A seated concert, a conference with parallel rooms and a reception with catering call for different layouts, and only the Agora states room capacities, so its 272 and 80 figures give a first reference point. For the other two, describe the expected audience and format when enquiring about room hire.

Accessibility is worth checking against your guests' needs: all three list wheelchair-accessible entrances, car parks and toilets, and the Agora adds an assistive hearing loop. Garden Bistro&Beach also lists accessible seating and is LGBTQ+ friendly. Confirm with the venues what private hire includes, since a public programme or a restaurant menu does not by itself mean the space can be booked for a closed event.
