A hall in Szeged, a park stage and a puppet house

IH Event Center on Felső Tisza-part in Szeged is an event venue that presents itself as a host for theatre evenings alongside concerts, conferences and weddings; its room rental offer also covers exhibitions and festivals. Outdoor Theater Újszeged at Népkert sor 7 sits in the Erzsébet-liget park, and its open-air stage seats 1,200 spectators per evening, with prose productions dominating. Kövér Béla Bábszínház on Tisza Lajos krt. 50 is a puppet theatre with a long tradition of puppet events, and an office and chamber room are listed at Feketesas utca 25.

Matching the venue to the production

For a company evening or a mixed programme, the event centre gives you a hall that already hosts theatre among other formats. A large open-air production points to the park stage, where the 1,200-seat auditorium sets the scale of the evening. For puppet work and family pieces, the puppet theatre is the specialist option, and it is worth asking what the chamber room at Feketesas utca can accommodate. Accessibility differs: all three list a wheelchair-accessible entrance, the event centre and the open-air stage also accessible parking, and the park stage accessible seating and toilet.
