Event spaces for hire in Csongrád-Csanád County

A cinema screen, a Tisza terrace and a csárda room

Cinema City Szeged stands apart because its rooms are built for image and sound, which suits presentations and press events more than a seated dinner. Old Kőrössy Fish Restaurant on the Sárga üdülőtelep works the opposite way: covered and open terraces facing the Tisza, live music, and a stated list of receptions, wedding lunches and dinners, christenings and corporate gatherings, with a kitchen that takes requests.

Kiskakas Csárda on Sándor u. 60/b is the smallest-scale option of the three, with buffet-style gatherings for 20–32 guests in its Vadász room, reserved for the group alone. Castle Garden Inn on Algyői út offers a separate function room for up to 50 people, rearranged from conference seating to workshops or seated receptions. Dóm tér at Aradi vértanúk tere is a public square listed as an event venue, suited to open-air programmes.

What to settle with the venue

A stated event type is a starting point, not a booking: ask what the room includes, how it is laid out and what the kitchen or technical team can take on. Where the venue lists a capacity, as Kiskakas Csárda and Castle Garden Inn do, confirm that the figure fits the planned seating rather than standing guests.
